Fellowship Groups

Connect Groups and Wednesday Family Night at Dixie Hills.

Life together.

Fellowship Groups are an essential part of our church, providing a place for deeper fellowship and better support for one another. The early church worshipped in large settings in the synagogues as well as in homes; we gather similarly to deepen our fellowship with God and one another.

God has reconciled us not only to Himself but also to each other. This “each other” is His Church. We intentionally pursue community through Sunday Connect Groups, Wednesday Family Night discipleship groups, and our other ministry groups.

Connect Groups

Life is not meant to be lived alone. In fact, God hates loneliness. You were created to experience life with other people, which is why we encourage you to get into a Connect Group.

A Connect Group is a group of people who gather each Sunday at 10:15 AM. You’ll spend time together, study the Word, pray, and have a lot of laughs. Groups also meet for fellowship outside church throughout the year—a great way to really get to know each other.

Groups come in all shapes and sizes: married couples, singles, men, women, children, and youth. No matter where you are in life, there’s a group for you.

Wednesday Family Night

We share a sit-down family meal at 5:45 PM in the Activities Building (Gym), followed by discipleship classes at 6:30 PM throughout the church.

Wednesday classes

  • Infants & toddlers — Nursery in the main building.
  • Children — Second floor of the Activities Building.
  • Youth — Youth wing in the main building.
  • Pastor’s co-ed class — Fellowship hall in the main building.
  • Men’s class — AB1 in the Activities Building.
  • Women’s class — AB8 in the Activities Building.

Serve in our gatherings.

Our Sunday morning gatherings are the beginning for most people at Dixie Hills. We need people who can serve as greeters and as members of the sound and media team.

Because Connect Groups are central to life at Dixie Hills, we also need willing people to lead and co-lead groups as classes grow.
